2011 SCBA SENIOR DAY PHOTOS
Hello Everyone,
This past weekend on October 9th, 2011 we had a very fun and exciting day, which we Honored Our Elders during Senior Day.
We estimated approximately, close to 100 seniors attended that day.
SCBA had served a large variety of Burmese food and deserts.
Food Served: Ko Pauk Mohinga, Boiled Chicken Rice Soup, Burmese Fried Noodle, Yemoke, and many other foods and fruits.
Deserts Served: Phalooda, Moklattsong, Samime, Chow Chaw(Burmese Jello), and many others.
MC: Aung Myo Thu and Lay Naing Ei
Speakers: Welcome Speech by Dr. Zaw Win Lwin Thank You Speech by Dr. Zaw Htun (Dr. Phillip Kaw)
Famous Burmese Singers: U Aung Myo Khin and U Tin Htut.
Burmese Class Students passed out cash gifts and lottery tickets to all Seniors who attended.
Games Played: We played a game called "Pictionary" hosted by Ko Myo Myint and Ko Yan Naing.
Seniors played "Make-Up" with the Burmese Class Students.

THINGYAN NEWS!!!
Dear All,
It is coming close to the time again for our traditional Burmese New Year Celebration. Join in on April 17th, 2011 for a fun filled day at the Los Angeles Thingyan!!! Last year we had a great turnout, and we are expecting much more this year!!! Come join us in some fun as we will all eat together, play water with one another, reunite with old friends, and just spend the afternoon filled with JOY!!!
